I was struggling with math and honestly didn’t feel like I had much to look forward to. I showed up, but my confidence wasn’t there, and it was hard to stay focused when I didn’t really believe things could change.
This program changed that for me. It helped me develop math skills in a real way, not just on paper. I became more attentive, and I could feel myself improving week by week. The more I practiced, the more focused I became, and that focus started showing up in other parts of my life too.
It wasn’t only about math, either. I learned real life skills, like how to keep a good, positive attitude and keep pushing even when something feels difficult. That mindset mattered. It helped me stay consistent, and it reminded me that progress comes from showing up and putting your all into it.
The program also helped me prepare for my future by exposing me to different union trades. Seeing those options made things feel more real and more possible. I was especially interested in the Carpenters, and getting to learn about that path motivated me. At the same time, the program prepared me mathematically to take the test, so I felt like I wasn’t just dreaming about the future, I was actually getting ready for it.
What stood out to me most was the hands-on experience. I got to build a toolbox with the Carpenters, and that gave me something I could point to and say, “I did that.” It equipped me to handle real-world scenarios because I wasn’t only learning in a classroom, I was practicing skills in a way that felt connected to real work.
Now, when I think back to where I was nine weeks ago compared to where I am today, it’s a big difference. I’m much more focused, I feel more prepared, and I feel like the sky is the limit.
I would recommend this program to anyone whose current situation is not the best. If you’re someone who wants to change and build a better, more successful future, this can really help.
